OUR PROCESS

PRE-INSPECTION

Our expert technicians will perform special tests to determine content of your fabric.  Once we’ve pinpointed the materials of your upholstery, we will decide what type of cleaning solutions and techniques need to be used, communicating any potential permanent stains or areas of concern.

PREPARATION AND PRE-VACUUM

To protect your surrounding furnishings, we will prepare the area around the upholstery about to be cleaned.  All cloth and fabrics should be vacuumed thoroughly before cleaning. This step will remove dry soils and any loose particles from cracks and crevices.

FURNITURE MOVING

Our team will design a solution special to your fabric type and soiling condition.  When applied to the problem area, this will help bring any grounded-in soil to the surface, so it can be more easily removed.

PRE-TREAT

A pre-conditioning agent is applied to emulsify, or break down, the soil throughout the carpeting. Difficult spots on the carpet are pre-treated with special products uniquely designed to increase the chances of removal.

PRE-SPOT AND GROOM

Any potentially difficult spots will be pre-treated with special solutions to increase chances of removal.  The fabric will then be gently groomed, using soft upholstery brushes to loosen the soil.

SOIL EXTRACTION, RINSE AND NEUTRALIZE

The soil is then extracted from the fabric with a gentle, controlled rinse. The fabric is then pH-balanced to maintain its soft, fresh feel.

POST SPOT AND GROOM

Any remaining spots will be treated with special stain-removal products.  The upholstery will then be prepared for drying with a gentle combing of the fabric.

SPEED DRY

High-velocity air movers will be placed on the upholstery to speed-dry the fabric.

POST-CLEANING INSPECTION

Our technician will review the cleaning results with you to ensure that your expectations have been met or exceeded.
