John Alzubi was in his early 20’s when he arrived to the United States from Jordan. He came on his own, with no family or support system to lean on. He had a vision for a better life and was determined to make that vision his reality. He knew very little English and took any job he could get to gain experience while making ends meet. Over time, his English improved and so did his working conditions.
John has always had an entrepreneurial heart. He has stayed curious and open to the opportunities that present themselves at every stage of his life. He has had many adventures when it comes to his work experience but John never swayed from his desires of owning his own business.
In 2004, after working for a cleaning company and realizing that he too could start a business without much startup capital, John decided to launch Smart Choice Cleaning. Since then, the company has grown from a solo venture to a staff of more than 25 professionals focusing on hard work and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Today, Smart Choice Cleaning is Northern Virginia’s cleaning leader, offering residential and commercial cleaning solutions that include: routine maid services, specialty maid services, carpet and upholstery cleaning; tile and grout cleaning; and commercial janitorial services.
John and his team’s corporate mission is “to provide the most outstanding customer experience ever!” John believes that “customer satisfaction” plays a huge part in establishing a rapport in business, and Smart Choice Cleaning has won multiple professional awards and designations.
In 2015 John acquired CertaPro Painters of Alexandria to expand his offerings to homeowners and businesses throughout Northern VA.
